Our Mission.

Our name, “Golden Given,” comes from a little dirt road in Tacoma, Washington, where two young people were just starting out together.

They bought a tiny one room house with no plumbing and a dream much bigger than their budget. The banks said no, so they said, we’ll build it ourselves.

They had more determination than experience and learned as they went. Family pitched in, they purchased materials one paycheck at a time, laughed through the mishaps, and literally left their initials set in mortar. That home became more than walls. It was a beginning.

Golden Given is a nod to that spirit; humble starts, determination, and building something that lasts with heart. It is the embodiment of our slogan:Strength in every story.
